Mr. Pattillo was even more ecstatic during the party, he as well as like Estrada felt very pleased for the spirit of friendship and behavior ruling among the large amount of people attending this Christmas Celebration hosted by Hacienda Pinilla.
“I want to thank everyone of you who decided to be with us in this very special day, being that this party is to honor all the employees for their priceless help to this project through the building of houses, roads, telephone system, electricity, drinking water, sewers, golf course and an endless amount of works that have made Hacienda Pinilla a reality”.
This Hacienda, is one of the largest tourist projects not only in Guanacaste but in the whole country. It has about 1800 hectares with one of its attractions , the best golf course in Central America , because it has 18 holes, and with the international measurements required for professional championships in this sportive discipline. The golf course also shows their visitors an enviable natural scenario with a great amount of trees of varied species that for the owner’s disposition were not cut down for the shaping of the golf course.
The beach, the sun, luxurious communities, condos and hotel sites in the building process, added to high technology services, this all has placed Hacienda Pinilla as one of the most beautiful and coziest places to visit or live in the Guanacastecan pampas. This Hacienda is located in the coastal sector of Santa Cruz , south from Playa Tamarindo on the Pacific Ocean .

Besides the rodeo, and a series of cultural acts Hacienda Pinilla rewarded the winner of the “Fun Run”, a 10 kilometer run around the golf course. Likewise, a school boy was honored with a $500 prize for a contest organized by the hacienda in all the schools of the area to choose the logo drawing for the project, the prize was given to the 6 th grader Denis Alvarez from San Jose de Pinilla elementary school.
This school received the amount of $500 in teaching materials as well as presents for the winner who expressed to be very happy because his drawing was chosen, and above all because thanks to the contest he was able to take materials to his very needy and poor school.
