Tour Description

Guaitil, near Santa Cruz city, is the only town in Costa Rica where they make indian pottery, using the same methods and materials used by our aborigines thousands of years ago. Learn about an ancient tradition passed on generation to generation.
Check out clay, tools and other materials that are used to make this unique type of pottery and have the chance to purchase some ceramics to the local artisans.

Days: Wednesday and Sunday
Driving time: 1:30 hours each way
Morning pick up 7:30 am
Return time: 1:00 pm
Afternoon pick up: 1:15 pm
Return time: 6:30 pm
